Transational Access to the EU Deep Underground Laboratories (TA-DUSL)

Transnational Access to The EU Deep Underground Laboratories (TA_DUSL) is one of the activities of the ILIAS initiative (FP6 Contract RII3-CT-2004-506222).

The aim of this scheme is to provide researchers from the European and Associated Countries with free access  to the Deep Underground Laboratories in Europe.:

  • Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS) of the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (Italy)
  • Laboratoire Souterain de Modane (LSM) of CEA/DSM and CNRS/IN2P3 (France)
  • Laboratorio Subterráneo de Canfranc(LSC) of Zaragoza University (Spain)
  • Boulby Mine Laboratory of the Institute for Underground Physics (UK)

European Union supports the mobility costs of visiting scientists and the expenses for the transnational access to the Deep Underground infrastructures. The financial support will be provided by the European Community through the respective funding agencies operating the underground Labs. Economic support will cover travel and subsistence expenses of the participating researchers. Local Administrative rules will be applied.
